Refund Policy

The short version: WebInSkin products are digital goods delivered immediately. Except where mandatory law says otherwise, sales are final once access or delivery begins. In limited cases, a discretionary refund may be granted.

1. Nature of the product

WebInSkin sells digital products such as WordPress plugins, add-ons, downloads, license-key services, updates, and related digital resources. Delivery normally begins immediately after purchase or activation.

2. Statutory consumer rights

If you are a consumer, mandatory law in your country may give you a legal right of withdrawal or refund. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For digital content supplied immediately, your statutory withdrawal right may be lost once delivery begins if you gave prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of that right, where local law permits this. If those legal conditions are not met, mandatory law prevails.

3. General no-refund rule for immediate digital delivery

Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, all sales are final once one or more of the following has happened:

  • the download became available to you;
  • a license key was issued;
  • the product was delivered to your account or email;
  • you activated, installed, or started using the product or a related commercial service.

4. Discretionary refunds that may be granted

Even where the law does not require a refund, a discretionary refund may be granted in limited cases such as:

  • duplicate purchase;
  • accidental double charge;
  • wrong variant purchased and promptly reported before meaningful use;
  • a reproducible technical defect in the product that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.

Discretionary refunds are granted at the sole discretion of WebInSkin and may be refused where there are signs of abuse, extensive use, extraction of value, or bad faith.

5. Situations that normally do not qualify for a refund

  • Change of mind after delivery or download.
  • Claims made after the product has been configured, customized, or materially used.
  • Requests made after custom assets, uploads, or site-specific configuration have already been created and retained on your own website.
  • Third-party incompatibilities outside the reasonable control of WebInSkin, unless the issue is clearly caused by the product.
  • Server, hosting, caching, CDN, theme, or plugin conflicts not reproducible on a reasonably standard setup.
  • Refund requests following fraud, chargeback abuse, or other misuse.

6. Renewal payments

If your plan renews automatically and you believe you were charged in error, please get in touch promptly. A renewal charge reported shortly after renewal may, at the sole discretion of WebInSkin, be refunded where no substantial use of the renewed commercial services has occurred.

7. Effect of a refund

If a refund is granted, your commercial entitlement ends. This may include deactivation of your license key, loss of access to updates, support, account services, and other commercial services associated with the refunded purchase.

Because WordPress products run locally on your own site, files, uploaded media, generated markup, or settings already stored on your WordPress installation may remain on your site unless you remove them yourself. A refund does not promise technical rollback of content already stored on your server.

8. Abuse prevention

WebInSkin reserves the right to refuse discretionary refunds where a purchase appears to have been made primarily to obtain short-term access, extract value, configure a site, export assets, or otherwise benefit from the product before seeking reimbursement.

9. Chargebacks

Please get in touch before initiating a chargeback. If a chargeback is opened instead of contacting support first, the dispute may be contested and related commercial services may be suspended while the dispute is pending.
